Get Involved

Volunteers are the only human beings on the face of the earth
who reflect this nation's compassion, unselfish caring, patience,
and just plain appreciation for one another.

Get involved and get connected! Make a Difference!  Join Noble PTA!  When you join the Noble yahoogroups and “like” Noble Elementary PTA on Facebook you can learn all about special school announcements, events, and educational opportunities happening in your child’s school. We encourage you to get involved in decision making at our monthly meetings, and participate in school events when you can.

Click on the underlined links to enroll, contribute, and become a Noble PTA member. After all, at Noble Elementary, our venture capital is our students and teachers. Please invest your time, talent, and resources generously for this more than worthwhile enterprise. Here’s how:

  1. Take the “2 Hour Involvement Pledge” – Volunteering provides a behind the scenes look at your child’s education. We welcome parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles too. The research is clear. Children in schools with abroad base of involved parents perform better on all kinds of school measures. As you can see from the 2 hour Power Form, we’d love your 2 hours, and – Really! We Promise!  There’s no obligation beyond helping in this small, but very important way. If you’d like to do more, fantastic - but we know it’s not a fit for everyone.
  2. Participating in our 2 hour Power Program is easy. Simply complete the enclosed 2 hour Power Form and return it to school with your child or e-mail it to We’ll be in touch with opportunities that fit your interests and availability; together we can make a huge difference at our school!

  3. Teachers Wish List – Looking for a gift idea for your child’s teacher. Please consider contributing to your child’s classroom by granting a Wish from the following list of teacher requests. Help Your Teacher;

  4. Direct Donation Drive - In September, the teachers kick off their annual “Direct Donation Drive” fundraiser. The goal is to raise a minimum of $2,000 per class for KG to 3rd grade, and $3,000 per class for 4th and 5th graders. With 24 classes that’s about $54,000. Roughly, that’s about $100 per child.
  5. This is a direct appeal from your child’s teacher directly for your child’s classroom. This is the simplest and most effective way to collect money to fund tissue boxes, classroom supplies, field trips, and educational materials that your child will be using every day! 100% of the money goes to your child’s classroom and 100% of the money is tax deductible.

  6. Corporate Matching – We encourage you to file for matching donations from your employers. Most Silicon Valley companies match the donation of their employees. Please review the List of participating companies and FAQ”s.
  7. It’s an easy two-step process:

    • Write a check with your direct donation to Noble PTA.
    • Submit your matching request donation to your Company as soon as you write a check with the Noble PTA Tax ID no: 77-0132572.
    • The corporate matching grant will double your donation and benefit Noble kids even more.
    • Questions? Please contact Noble PTA board Members. See the PTA Board Page on this website for contact information.

Why Donate? Don’t Our Taxes Pay for this all?
No, our taxes do not pay for everything, far from it actually. Our taxes only pay for teachers and office administration salaries only, and the operation of the facilities (lights, water, maintenance, etc.)

Do other Schools ask for Donations?
Yes, they do. Most of them ask for more than Noble PTA.
